To start, here’s a general overview on what to expect and prepare.

Get Your Finances in Order

Don’t worry if you’re still paying off your mortgage, there are several options depending on what type of mortgage you have. I can guide you on the questions to ask and the answers you will need from your lender to proceed.

Meet With Me!

Our partnership is something you need to feel completely comfortable with. I have in depth knowledge of the market and can help you price your home to sell. Questions like “When is a good time to sell?” or “What are market conditions” are just some of the topics we’ll discuss.  Read through my testimonials or ask to speak to some of my previous clients to get an even more in depth picture of what I can do for you.

Listing Your Home

Setting the right price is key and will give your home more exposure.  We’ll talk about the different strategies available to you. We’ll also talk about the multitude of factors influencing pricing including: competitiveness, current market conditions, and of course, the condition of your home.

Preparation Marketing And Promotion

I will guide you through the staging process and also help you prepare your home for sale. This may involve simple de-cluttering or the involvement of a team of professionals. My goal is to present your home at it’s best to Buyers looking for a home just like yours!
The next step will be to sign a Listing Agreement, which gives me permission to post your property on the Toronto MLS (Multiple Listing Service). My service includes a complimentary professional Photo/Video shoot that I’ll use to promote your home while marketing your listing through a variety of mediums — digital and traditional — and inform other REALTORS® (representing buyers) that your property is on the market.

Closing

After the hard work of marketing and promoting your home pays off, you’ll hopefully have a few offers on the table. I will walk you through each offer and ensure there are no unanswered questions. I am a seasoned negotiator and will work hard to obtain the best price for your home!  Finally, I will work with your lawyer and ensure they have everything they need to close the deal.
